Leza García winery

Leza García is a small family winery in the heart of Rioja Alta with vineyards in the Najerilla and Sonsierra valleys. Currently managed by brothers Luis Fernando, Juan Angel and Donato (3rd generation). Founded in 1920 when Juan Leza Arenzana began growing grapes in Uruñuela. The 4th generation is represented by Sergio Leza, acting as export manager.

Leza García farms 135 ha of vineyards providing diverse growing conditions, soils and microclimates at 500–700 m altitude. Plantings are 70% red and 30% white grapes.

“Our vineyards benefit from exceptional conditions for grape growing, thanks to the convergence of continental and Mediterranean climates and the significant temperature differences between day and night.”

Winemaking is led by veteran oenologist Rodrigo Inza. White wines are fresh and crisp, while reds are pleasantly balanced, concentrated and characterized by a traditional style.
