TASTE AND CHARACTER
Its intense ruby color signals a wine with character. The nose brings together juicy black cherries, ripe plums, and blackberries, complemented by cocoa, coffee, Mediterranean herbs, and subtle spice. The palate is full and concentrated, yet beautifully lively and fresh. A mineral finish bears the signature of Priorat's slate slopes and gives the wine length and elegance.

Bodegas Mas Alta was founded in 1999 by the Belgian Lambrecht and Vanhoutte families in collaboration with renowned Rhône oenologist Michel Tardieu. Based in the village of La Vilella Alta in the heart of Priorat, the winery focuses on an authentic expression of the region’s local slate soils, known as “llicorella”. Its philosophy is rooted in meticulous manual work in the vineyard, low yields and minimal intervention in the cellar, allowing the wines to express the region’s terroir as faithfully as possible.
