Fourteen months in fine American oak creates a remarkably sophisticated and pure Graciano. It brings deep dark-cherry notes and a richly layered palate full of plums, tobacco, and nutmeg.

This wine comes from a 15-year-old "Los Celemines" Graciano vineyard located in the Najerilla valley at an altitude of 490 meters. It is grown on poor clay-iron soil with a significant proportion of gravel.

HARVEST
The harvest takes place in the first two weeks of October. Only the best grapes from old vines are selected during the harvest.
VINIFICATION AND AGING
Maceration takes place in small tanks and aging in new American oak barrels for 14 months. The wine then continues to age in the bottle until it reaches a perfect balance of taste and aroma.

Alcohol: 14%; Acidity: 5.2 g/l; Residual sugar: 1.9 g/l.
TASTE AND CHARACTER
It impresses with an intense, multi-layered bouquet combining aromas of black plums with notes of tobacco and nutmeg. In the glass, it appears in a clear, bright cherry-red color of medium intensity. Pure Graciano shows a complex structure with dark fruit, spices and delicate woody notes.

Leza García is a small family winery in the heart of Rioja Alta with vineyards in the Najerilla and Sonsierra valleys. Currently managed by brothers Luis Fernando, Juan Angel and Donato (3rd generation). Founded in 1920 when Juan Leza Arenzana began growing grapes in Uruñuela. The 4th generation is represented by Sergio Leza, acting as export manager.
Leza García farms 135 ha of vineyards providing diverse growing conditions, soils and microclimates at 500–700 m altitude. Plantings are 70% red and 30% white grapes.

Winemaking is led by veteran oenologist Rodrigo Inza. White wines are fresh and crisp, while reds are pleasantly balanced, concentrated and characterized by a traditional style.
