This wine began as the dream of two Italian oenologists and wine enthusiasts, Emanuele Trona and Stefano Quaglierini. After years spent exploring wine regions and gathering experience, they decided to create their own project, Prima Domus. Virtus is their very first wine and the embodiment of their desire for a modern, honest Tuscan wine of the highest quality. VINIFICATION AND AGING
Sangiovese ages for 18 months in large oak barrels; Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon age for 12 months in barrique barrels (Quintessence and Baron, medium toast).

TASTE AND CHARACTER
Bright ruby-red color. The aroma is highly complex, with notes of red fruit, strawberries and pomegranate; light vanilla nuances make the bouquet convincing and satisfying. On the palate the wine is elegant and perfectly balanced, with freshness beautifully integrated with silky tannins that bring intense and rich sensations. The finish is long, persistent and satisfying.
SOMMELIER'S TIP
Serve at 12.5 °C. Suitable with starters and excellent with beef or pasta with beef ragù. Cellaring potential: 3 years or more.

Prima Domus is a project by two Italian oenologists, Emanuele Trono and Stefano Quaglierini. It was founded in 2020 after many years of tastings and visits to wine regions, during which Emanuele and Stefano also worked to promote wine culture. They say about their new project: "The Prima Domus project is a new challenge for us. We want to express in wine everything that has inspired us over the years. It will be a different path from the one we have taken so far, but step by step we want to develop this project and allow as many people as possible to taste and experience the way we think about wine."
